    Look at the color patterns on the baby anteater, and it'll become clearer. The "panda" head is a pattern on the left front leg of the mother anteater (with long plumes of fur spraying out rearward the outer part of the leg). The next limb (pointing southeasterly) is the front right. The next limb, all black, is the left rear leg, and finally the right rear (pointing southeasterly) follows. Of course, there's no explanation for the real, flying, somersaulting panda in the bush in the background...
